Online customisation is driving offline consumer demand

It seems consumers are so used to being able to customise whatever they want online that this is driving their offline demands as well.

‘Off piste’ fast food ordering is a great example of this – check out McDonald’s secret menu and a journalist’s findings when he tried it. Starbucks also seem to be getting in on the act.

Given the state of some of the choices, another trend this might drive in a few years’ time is increased visits to the local GP…
